Five Elders, One Vision

The Heart Behind Freedom and Joy Meet Our Founding Elders

Adam Boyes

Husband, father, brother, son, friend. Disciple of Jesus Christ.

Adam is a visionary and a builder—not just of structures, but of people, discipleship, and faith-filled community. He carries a deep commitment to truth and a passion for expressing it clearly, ensuring that Freedom and Joy Church is rooted in biblical integrity, warmth, and authentic worship.

While he values clarity and directness, Adam is also deeply relational, crafting a church culture that is welcoming, accountable, and grounded in Christ. He believes that discipleship is not just about leadership—it’s about walking together in truth, growing in faith, and living in genuine fellowship.

With an unwavering dedication to Scripture, community, and mission, Adam’s presence within Freedom and Joy Church is one of strength, wisdom, and steadfast faith—guiding the church not by force, but by trust, conviction, and a heart fully surrendered to Christ.

Heather Boyes

Wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend. Disciple of Jesus Christ.

Heather is, without a doubt, a trophy of grace—a title spoken over her years ago and one she continues to embody daily.

As the leader of our kids ministry, Heather brings over 20 years of experience as a primary school teacher, combined with a deep love for igniting a passion for Scripture in children. She has a gift for bringing Bible stories to life through craft, storytelling, and hands-on activities, ensuring that each child grows in the ways of Christ with joy and excitement.

But Heather’s impact stretches far beyond kids ministry. She is a first-rate disciple maker, having blessed countless youth and young adults through her mentorship, love, and unwavering support for more than two decades.

We are truly, truly blessed to have Heather as one of our founding elders, and we know that her faith, warmth, and wisdom will continue to shape lives for years to come.

Roger Pulini

Husband, father, brother, son, friend. Disciple of Jesus Christ.

Roger embodies healthy, godly masculinity, reflecting the strength, love, and integrity of a mature leader. He carries a steady presence—one that is unshaken, unwavering, and deeply rooted in Christ.

Like the mature king who nurtures rather than controls, and the disciplined warrior who knows when to fight, Roger walks in wisdom, conviction, and purpose. His faith is anchored in grace, allowing Christ to shine through him in a way that brings healing, strength, and peace to others.

To know Roger is to experience stability, resilience, and genuine godly leadership—not through dominance, but through steadfast presence and unwavering commitment to grace and truth.

Cecilia Pulini

Wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend. Disciple of Jesus Christ.

Worship is more than music—it’s a lifestyle of devotion. Cecilia has answered a consecrated calling to lead others into authentic, heartfelt worship, creating an atmosphere where people can truly encounter the presence of God.

Beyond her role in worship, Cecilia’s heart for others shines through her work with deeply traumatized individuals—from young people who are wards of the state to older individuals in need of love, guidance, and support. Her patience, grace, and quiet strength transform lives in ways words can barely capture.

There is a perseverance, beauty, and grit about Cecilia that must be experienced to be fully understood. We invite you to join us for worship and see for yourself the depth of her faith, passion, and dedication.
